Founded in 1984, the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council (PPGC) is an organization of planned giving officers, development professionals, attorneys, financial planners, financial services officers and insurance underwriters. The Council meets regularly, generally the second Tuesday of every other month, to discuss issues and trends in the area of charitable gift planning. PPGC is affiliated with the National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG) and PPGC adheres to Model Standards of practice for the Charitable Gift Planner set by NCPG.
