Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council

The Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council is a group of professionals committed to promoting gifts to charity as a positive way to achieve individual estate planning objectives through education.

PPGC is affiliated with the National Committee on Planned Giving and ascribes to its Code of Ethics. PPGC is education focused, conducting five bi-monthly meeting programs, a comprehensive regional education conference and a Leave A Legacy™ community awareness program in conjunction with the National Committee on Planned Giving.

PPGC is committed to partnering wherever possible to promote philanthropy as a viable estate planning tool that addresses personal and community-related planning objectives.

Founded in 1984, PPGC is one of the oldest planned giving councils in the United States with nearly 150 members.

2009 Conference Planner Search

The Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Western Pennsylvania Chapter and the Pittsburgh Planned Giving Council (PPGC) invite you to apply to this Request for Proposal for a Conference Planner for the 2009 eMerging Philanthropy Conference. The conference will be held April 22-23, 2009 at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe, 1000 Corporate Drive in Canonsburg, PA (Exit 48, Interstate 79, 15 miles south of Pittsburgh).

AFP and PPGC, two regional development organizations, merged their two annual conferences to better serve attendees, supporters and sponsors. While each conference maintains its separate identity, the planning team works together to assure a continuity of purpose and programs.

Each year the Conference brings together hundreds of fundraising professionals. The audience includes Executive Directors, Chief Development Officers, Major Gift Officers, Special Event Directors, Planned Giving Officers, consultants, sponsors, exhibitors and allied professionals.
